Neoko Music in CYstarters program at Iowa State University

    The summer accelerator is soon coming to an end. So I figure I'd talk about it. CYstarters is a well established program with a great team, and finishing up the 11th cohort year. I hope to see the program expand across campus, many majors, and grow. Receiving $6,500 in non-dilutive funding AND a summer of access to resources is a very big deal.

    So how was the program discovered as a student at Iowa State? By signing up to a pitch competiton on a whim while in a lecture and receiving a $500.00 prise for something I had been working on as a hobby. It was a great experience and feels validating that someone else understands and appreciaes your idea. Through the pitch compettion is where CYstarters was brought up.

    Throughout this summer, everyone in the cohort has been able to meet with a variety of professionals in all fields, practice pitching, and given lots and lots of time to work. Along with working with each other. CYstarters has allowed me to give my full attention to my project, which I would not have been able to do otehrwise.

Demo day is coming up and I'll be excited to show everything that has been completed!
